Christmas Part I

Ayden and Ashten playing Horton Hears a Who
Ashten looks so cute as an Elephant
You have to collect these "clovers" using the Horton hat.
Ashten had so much fun he passed out watching a movie
In the evening we went to Wes and Kristin's house for dinner and to celebrate Christmas with them as they will be in New Hampshire this year for Christmas. Kristin made lasagna, manacotti, and meatballs. it was all very good. The boys had fun playing their new game and watching movies. It was a very long day but a great start to the holidays.

Ward Christmas Party

Ashten, AJ, and Ayden with Santa

AJ and his candy cane. He's crying because I took it away just long enough to take off the plastic.

Daddy and Ashten (Armand hasn't mastered the fine art of taking your own picture)
Watching the program
Yummy SNOW!!
How cute is AJ?!
Tonight was the Ward Christmas Party. The boys got to visit with Santa first. AJ was not happy at first, but after bribing him with a candy cane he sat there for a minute. (Note to self remember to bring my own candy cane when we go get the kids pictures with Santa at the mall.)Afterwards, we all ate way too much. They had ham, baked potatoes with all the toppings, salad, rolls, beans and corn, and cheesecake. After dinner there was a nativity play with singing from different people in the ward. The primary sang "Away in a Manger". Ayden sang but was standing as far from the group as possible and half the time we were looking at the back of his head. After the song some of the boys...not mentioning any names (Ayden, Ashten, and Jared H.) were running as fast as they could and then sliding across the floor on their knees. How embarrassing! I think the big boys' favorite part was cleaning up afterwards! They were very helpful. Anderson's favorite part of course was the food! When we came out of the Stake Center we found that it had started snowing!
