Wes and Kristin invited us to go to the Tulip Festival, this morning. There were supposed to be all kinds of activities and things going on up there. Unfortunately, we drove all the way up there and couldn't find anything, including the tulips. Apparently, the tulips come in at different times each year depending on the weather, which I remembered from last year, but not until we already drove all the way there. We still had fun seeing the daffodils, which were in full bloom. The kids loved running up and down the rows. Afterwards, we went to Anacortes and got some ice cream, before heading home. We'll have to remember this for next year, and maybe print out directions to some of the activities and events.

I've been thinking about those tulips and wondering when exactly they'd be all blossomed due to the colder weather, aparently looks like not quite yet!
How fun!!! I want to do that.... great pics too!
