Ashten reading, "One upon a time thewe was a pokey dinosauw" Ayden reads, "Momma bear made gingerbread men"
The boys were so cute tonight. They were cleaning their room and Ashten all of the sudden yells, "Story time!" We usually do read at bedtime but it was funny because today they got out their camping chairs and set them up by the bookshelf. First Ashten read his story, How Does A Dinosaur Play with His Friends? He looked at the pictures and made up a little story. He showed us the pictures when he was done reading the page and he read it back to front. If you have ever heard Ashten talk you know he has a deep voice and his speech is still being worked on. So it was just so funny to hear him tell a story. When he was done, like they had it all planned out Ashten picked up his chair and Ayden put his in Ashten's previous spot in front of the bookcase. Ayden's story was The Sweet Smell of Christmas. He would read a page and then hand us the book for us to scratch n' sniff the pages. The boys are growing up so fast and they just crack me up. I love that they enjoy reading and I hope that they will continue to love books as they grow up!
